It needed a better script - SPOILERS
I enjoyed the movie but there are a couple of things that don't make much sense.
1. If Cliff wanted to keep Tim out of trouble, why would he bring an unsavory type like Chuck Martin around? I found this particularly odd because it was so unnecessary.
2. As is often the case, the goons were aware the police were after them so why didn't they leave town? Instead they head over to Chuck's place. What was the point of that?
I know it's a movie and there had to be a way for Tim to get involved as the action unfolds and there had to be a way for all the loose ends to get wrapped up but I think it should have been handled a different way.
