why is this not on blu ray?

with all the *beep* tyler perry movies and other crap that looks no different whether its high-def or not. it begs the question, Why is this masterpiece not? it would look amazing.

It will come out later this year, probably in the 4th quarter; my guess is somtime close to Thanksgiving, Halloween, or Christmas. Hopefully it will happen sooner or later.
