Fantasia Diamond Edition cover artwork revealed!

I like the fact that the cover artwork is pretty much the same as with the previous releases. It really makes Fantasia feel extra special, like a dark and mysterious entry in a canon of films otherwise quite bright and accessible. It makes it feel like a cult film, which it is. The one iconic image of Mickey Mouse on a music score with the stars in the background is inseparable from people's perception of the film, much like the rabbit-face collage for Donnie Darko and the hand and red rose on bare stomach for American Beauty.

I'm excited beyond words to have that DVD and Blu-Ray in my collection forever. :D

This isn't the 'final' artwork - its merely the DVD cover art with Diamond Edition slapped on the front. They usually do this just to promote the release.
