The next Disney film for the Platinum/Diamond Editions will be Dumbo. I know how you might be feeling and probably think I am lying, but go to Amazon.com and look for "Dumbo" and you'll find Dumbo (Blu-ray)

Fantasia gives no hint of a Blu-ray release coming any time soon.

I've been an amazon shopper and I've bought quite a few dvds from amazon.com
It would say Diamond edition however it doesn't because it's only going to be released (for the time being) as a special edition dvd and blu ray in Feb 2010. A month before the years first diamond edition comes out according to traditional release dates being mostly in March and October.
The next Diamond edition (check Snow white and the seven dwarfs blu ray edition for this information) release is going to be Beauty and the beast followed by Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 in fall 2010. Whenever there is news its usually inside a Disney dvd release (Platinum/diamond editions have are full of them)
Snow White was released on October 7th. I'd say Disney is a better source of news rather than a bare listing for Dumbo

Maybe that's a better source of information regarding the Dumbo Blu-ray. It's only listed as a special edition and not as a diamond edition, but that, for me, would be better than having no Dumbo Blu-ray at all.
And yes, I think you're right. Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 are coming to Blu-ray in Fall 2010 with Beauty and the Beast out in Spring. Originally it was the other way round.
I admit i was wrong about Dumbo. However, the next OFFICIAL Diamond Edition will be Beauty and the Beast, which will be released October 5th (Blu-Ray) and the standard release will be a little later. I forget when.
Dumbo's release date is still up for grabs even though the Snow White Diamond Edition said it would be released this Spring of 2010. We will see if Disney is true to its word.
At this rate Fantasia may not be released until Fall 2011 since it will be a year between the release of two Diamond Editions
You'll have to think of a better excuse than that. I've just found out that Fantasia is due this year on December 7th. Fantasia 2000 will also be due on the same day.

Understandable. But it's claimed to be coming out on a very soon date (October/November), so I'd keep on alert hypothetically that the Diamond Edition will be coming out (supposedly it comes complete with the sequel, which is a little inferior in comparison to the predecessor and original masterpiece, but it's nice that it's an inclusion). Also, I believe this is The Blu Ray and DVD combo for the first time rendition (Which I shall undoubtedly and without hesitation buy).
