How about a 3D re-release?

I know some people would be against it but to be honest I think nearly all of the songs would look cool in 3D. Especially Toccata & Fugue - talk about trippy. I don't really think it would degrade the artistic aspect of it, on the contrary, it may get people into this film again. I think they should do it for Fantasia/2000 too but I'd push for this more.

I'm not a huge fan of 3D, but I'd still go watch it if it happened. I'd rather see a new Fantasia installment in 3D than a conversion job on the original, though.

Who would be against it? They should've skipped Beauty+theBeast and Lion King and started working on this 3D first.

It would be utterly fantastic. Even if it's just a conversion.

I don't really care about the 3D, but I'd love to see this rereleased to theatres.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone know when this is going to be rereleased on blu-ray again? I'm guessing 2017...
