Donkey
During the scene where the centaurs are making wine and the "king" joins them, before the storm, does his donkey not remind anyone of the "jackass boys" in Pinocchio, from just one year previous? He sure resembles them! LOL.

sharePinocchio came out the same year as Fantasia and yes I can see the similarity
shareThe colourful little 'Donkeys'(as well as the one carrying Bacchus,) were all Unicorns........
^_^
The Opener of the Way is waiting....
The donkey-with-a-horn was actually given a name by the Disney folks--well, actually two names, one generic and one personal.
The generic name: mulicorn.
The personal one (wait for it):
Jacchus. http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Jacchus
That little guy was always one of my favorites in the Pastoral sequence--the others being the beautiful, noble "zebrataurs" attending Bacchus, and the whole Pegasus family (especially the little black and white colt, Peter Pegasus).
They like you very much, but they are not the hell your whales.
If he came out of the Pleasure Island donkey mill, I'm glad he got a good gig partying with Bacchus.
