Throughout history, there have been but a handful of groundbreaking films where the soundtrack has become inextricably linked to the cinematic achievement of the film itself. There is perhaps no greater example of this marriage than Walt Disney’s 1940 masterpiece, Fantasia. The event screenings will include a newly recorded behind-the-scenes look at The Philadelphia Orchestra’s rehearsals, including a selection of pieces from Fantasia. In addition, Acclaimed conductor Yannik Nezet-Seguin will lead an exclusive, up-close-and-personal discussion about the history of Stokowski, Fantasia, and the indelible imprint both left on the modern world symphonic world.

Saw it tonight in New Haven...only 10 or 11 people in the theater. All the Yalies were going to see Spectre. Figures...so sad.
shareIt looks like they thankfully kept the original 4:3 aspect ratio. Can you confirm if they did? A number of theatrical re-releases were transferred to widescreen projection, so had the top and bottom of the image cut off, which completely messed up the original compositions.

I can confirm it was in 4:3, but sadly, the intermission was omitted...
