This film evokes a certain reverance for the man,Livingston-and that is ok.

But Stanley himself is a driven man who will not stop at anything he sets his mind on.

BTW,Tracy is a extraordinary actor who makes acting look easy when it ain't !

Simplicity can be subtle and be made to appear simple when it is a paring down process which requires EFFORT

This is a lifeless movie that bears very little resemblance to the actual events that supposedly inspired it. It's almost entirely fiction. The second-unit footage shot in Africa is the only thing of any interest.
