the Old and the New?

I'd just like to say that I've seen on some posts that apparently young people can't appreciate old films. As much as sometimes it's easy to think that, It makes me physically sick some of the rubbish some people my age come up with as their favourite films of all time! But please don't assume we all can't watch anything other than what came out yesterday. I consider Stagecoach to be one of the BEST films I've ever seen but that's not because it is an old film. There are plenty of modern films that are brilliant and plenty more old films that are the same. But I guess you all already knew that, the world's not so simple. But I just wanted to make sure it was understood that Stagecoach and other films do not just belong to the older audiences, STAGECOACH RULES! I'm new here so please don't assume I mean to offend. : )

I completely agree with you. I'm only 19, and half of my top 10 movies would be from before 1960. And 1939 was probably the best year for movies EVER. This movie just helps back up that statement.

I'm abig fan of The Duke. Stagecoach's one of my favorite movies. I like the scene when the Ringo Kid was introduced, cocking his rifle and yelled "Hold It!" then blinked.
