When Ygor, and the Monster were seeking revenge...where you could actually see the wagon wheel crush the man's body? I remember seeing this film on local TV (circa late 1970's, early 1980's), and there was always a "jump-cut" before the wagon ran the man over, (and it quickly jumped to Ygor playing his musical instrument). This led me to believe that the uncut version of this scene was more explicit.

I have the DVD version and in it we see the wheel against he's body, although it those not seem like he's crushed. the wagon actually seems pretty light and its just for a brief moment anyway then they cut to Ygor.

Very interesting!!! Maybe when the movie was first produced, this particular scene was orginally more explicit, but the "censors" back in 1939 made the film-makers shorten the scene.
