Benson spoofed by Alec Guinness?
I just saw this on dvd for the first time in 40 years. Did anyone else find that the part of the butler Benson was partly spoofed by Alec Guinness in Murder by Death? He looks a lot like this Benson. And then there's the thing with Ygor saying "Benson man". The Guinness Benson is named Bensonmum, Jamesssir Bensonmum, if you please! Don't tell me Neil Simon hadn't seen this movie when he wrote Murder by Death!
