This movie will be on Svengoolie in a few short hours!
I don't have any comments or questions other than to say that I saw this when I was a kid and barely remember it. I've read some of the reviews and, based on them and my limited recollection of it, I think it out to be pretty dang good!

I really want to see this one. Basil Rathbone was great at this type of role.
Also, I want see Josephine Hutchinson in a youthful leading lady role. I saw her earlier this week in Happiness Ahead on TCM. I thought she looked a little like Joan Crawford. Before, I had only seen her as an old woman in her later roles on Perry Mason in the late 50s and early 60s. She was a really great actress.
Son of Frankenstein is a real classic!
I have to admit that I wasn't too sure who she was until I did a "google image" search of her name. As you said, she was a terrific actress and was in some of the best shows I've seen. I really liked her in North by Northwest and I also liked her in the Twilight Zone episode ("The Electric Body", I think).
I'll keep an eye out for her tonight as well.

Recording on DVR. I like the expressionist photography and sets in these.
Only a few short minutes for me until this one is on . I can't wait this will the first time I have seen this film . Josephine Hutchinson is one of my favorite actresses ( loved her in that Twilight Zone episode " I Sing The Body Electric " - she had such an elegant laugh in that one also . No crime in that VincentPriceIsRight . It's just a fun way to spend a quiet & relaxing Saturday night .
I forgot what a great actor Bela is in this film. Completely different from most of his stagy performances. Don't get me wrong. I think he's an incredible actor. It's just that so often he played so many similar parts.

Dare I go so far as to say......Bela outshines Karloff in this film?? It's a great film.
shareI so agree djaggen these classic golden oldies so rock . There always seemed something very special about these films and the actors who were in them . Perhaps it must be it's classy all around style of the times ( IMPO here anyway ) .
