...men that sentenced Igor to be hung? It had to be the Monster but he's been in a coma for 30 years.

I can certainly believe that they were re-writing the script until the last moment.

Having just rewatched it, I noticed Ygor never actually said how long the Monster had been comatose. Ygor probably had the Monster kill the first six before the accident that injured the Monster.

The jurors all showed signs of being killed by the same individual. Since we saw the last two killed by the Monster, it stands to reason he killed the first six.

Ygor made those two veiled references to it: "He was...hunting." and "He does things for me."

Krogh says it would be too easy to blame old Ygor; he was under observation when all the murders were committed.

Actually he did. He says "hes been laying here for many months (and i emphasize MONTHS) after the lightning hit him". so it coudl be that the monster killed the first 6 and then got hit by lightning.

Funny how Ygor said in "Son Of Frankenstein" that the monster was hit by lightning, which incapacitated him, but in one of the later sequels, he's out in the forest again, gets hit by lightning, and it gives him his strength back!

The writers did fine, you just failed to pay attention. He was in a coma from being struck by lightning some time AFTER killing the other six, not from the lab explosion decades prior.
