Refreshing Break from Nasty Campaign

Despite my being over 60, last evening I watched this movie for the first time. It was inspiring to see DC through Jeff Smith's eyes. It was a wonderful movie, especially in these times. I certainly knew for many years that this movie existed and I am so sorry I did not watch it earlier in my life. It's also a great way to learn the legislative process.

It certainly is and when they were doing that thing on Turner Classic Movies about...what was it, Cable in the Classroom or something like that? They were showing clips from 3 particular movies in which it's easier for the kids to relate to because the kids play a key role in the movies and they were To Kill a Mockingbird, The Day the Earth Stood Still, AND Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, and that's part of what interested me in seeing this movie.

Agree....but have decided to filibuster your post....

Not to copy the movie and use the constitution....
