Brutal treatment of the boy rangers

It bugged me that the bad guys got away with slapping a newspaper boy and terrorising the others (almost killing them by running them over). They never really received recourse for their cruelty.

‘Six inches is perfectly adequate; more is vulgar!' (Prime of Miss Jean Brodie Re: An open window).

The trivia section mentions that the original cut includes scenes of "the Taylor machine being crushed." But that those scenes, and others of the aftermath, were cut after test screenings.

I'm not sure those scenes were necessary. I think it was clear that Taylor lost and that even Senator Paine was redeemed. It was implied that Taylor would get his comeuppance.

Well look what the so called upstanding representatives did to the "pages" in the 1980=90's (Page Boy scandal)or better yet watch the high quality version of Conspiracy of Silence on youtube.

This was just a movie the prior examples are facts.
