Protesting the 1957 Civil Rights Act, Sen. Strom Thurmond had a staffer on standby with a bucket for this very reason. (He was going to try to pee in the senate cloak room while keeping one foot in the Senate chamber. That had to be awkward.)

So the next time you think your job sucks take a moment to think about the Senate staffer who had to carry around a bucket of his boss's piss.
