Rand Paul has led a filibuster against drone use on American citizens for over 11 hours and counting. Reminded me of Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.

1st thing I thought of was this movie when Paul started the filibuster.

I'm pretty sure Mr. Smith Goes to Washington is the first thing anyone thinks of when they hear filibuster - even people who haven't had the pleasure of seeing the film.

That’s a very interesting mixture of poetry and meanness.

Yeah, and I betcha there wasn't a Gallery Full of People applauding Him either, like they stupidly did in "Mr. Smith..." But, I agree with Paul, He's My top choice for President in 2016.
