Jimmy Stewart acting was ahead of its time

They say Brando was the one who revolutionized acting. No question Brando contributions to film acting. But I believe Stewart may have started this naturalistic style acting earlier.

Watching this film and It's a Wonderful Life made me convinced how great an actor he is, just those two films alone. And I believe he's better than most well known actors today.

The guy can do it all, from playing subtle, nuanced to intense, volcanic to silly, funny. The guy was/is a genius actor.

One of all the time greats.

extremly agreed.
Stewart was Chapra's main weapon yet hitchcook main actor. when i first look the stewart's movie, im just impressed, but when i see all of his performances in whole of movies, im freaking surprised. this guy so versatile and adaptive, he can perform any character perfectly.

i told you, even if Stewart still alive in this generation, he will grab every oscar best actor from every movie he plays.

my directors of all time : charlie chaplin, alfred hitchcock, stanley kubrick, billy wilder

The dude could talk his way out of or in to any situation. Anatomy of A Murder and Mr. Smith Goes To Washington are the best examples of his acting prowess, in my book.
