Question about the play

Now in the movie, it's explained just WHY Ed printed up 'Watch for the revolution, it's coming soon' and 'the red flag will sweep the country'. To advertise the fireworks made based on the Russian revolution...but in the play, just HOW could someone explain printing up phrases like 'Dynamite the Capitol!' 'Dynamite the White House!' 'Dynamite the Supreme Court!'? I know he said he'd just print anything, but where could that stuff come from?

reply

the book he was reading on trotsky

reply

Ahhhhh, that would make sense, I suppose...I never read it.

in Act III, when Donald is reading the paper, he reads "the defendants, 13 in all ..." ... there were 14 of them, weren't there?

You give me joy that's unspeakable, Jesus I am so in love with You

reply

Well let's see, there was Grandpa, Paul, Penny, Ed, Essie, Tony, Alice, Rheba, Donald, Mr and Mrs. Kirby, Mr. Kolenkhov, Mr. DePinna, and Gay Wellington, so yes it was 14.
