I don't get it - where's Mrs. Wellington???

i haven't seen this movie but i've seen a high school production of the play, and my sister played Mrs. Wellington. in this movie, there's no Mrs. Wellington. why??? my entire family agreed that the two best charcters were Donald and Mrs. Wellington, and not because my sister was Mrs. Wellington. so, where is she???

They didn't have Gay Wellington and they also didn't have the Grand Duchess in this movie...they changed a lot of things and instead we got Mr. Poppins, the toy maker, and he was an okay character too I thought.

um.......wow. i think they should have kept Gay in there. haven't seen the movie, but Mr. Poppins? sounds like Mary's husband. and the Grand Duchess i hardly understand, but still, cut HER out as well? geez.

Well, a lot of things change during the transition from a play or a book to a movie. Sometimes it's not as good as the original story but I think both the play and the movie of You Can't Take it With You are great in their own rights.

I played the grande duchess and i always thought she should have been in the film as well.
