Do you think it's because this was originally a play itself that Penny wrote plays? I could never figure out why she wrote plays instead of novels because plays are a lot more difficult to write, at least from what I've read it would seem so.

shareShe wasn't quite a kid though at the time because Alice says it was 8 years ago, 8 years ago if we want to follow the chronological order that is presented in the original play, Alice would've been about 14 at the time so Penny would've been in her late 30s or somewhere in her 40s I think.
