In the scene where miss Froy and Gilbert, reenter their compartment, right after talking to the nun, Gilbert slaps Iris's ass and informs her she isn't drugged. I wonder if that was socially acceptable, or if it stirred any problems when it was released?

This movie was pretty risque for 1938. I noticed it was rated "Adult" in the UK. Probably like PG-13 or R nowadays.
