Heads up everybody! TCM has a restored Print. This is the one we were waiting for. Keep looking at "Turner Classic Movies" listings.Then when it shows up.... Check it out!

The movie is avaiable on dvd in the U.K.I have a print and it's fantastic quality.

The VHS released by Fox in the 1990's was mediocre at best but TCM does show a near-flawless print. I'm curious why this Selznick film has never made it yet to DVD in the states as a number of rather secondary Selznick pictures (THE YOUNG AT HEART, I'LL BE SEEING YOU, etc.) have.
