shareFor an article on this, see "cabin pressurization" at Wikipedia. I think the answer to your question is No. That plane would not have been pressurized. (In 1937, probably no commercial passenger plane was pressurized.) In that scene, the plane is flying from 16,000 to 21,000 feet for the last part of the trip. Maybe someone who is expert on altitude sickness can comment on how long most people can travel at such altitude without getting sick.
