Bloom County's A WISH FOR WINGS THAT WORK

The animated TV special A WISH FOR WINGS THAT WORK contained an unexpected appearance of a scene from LOST HORIZON.
As the show returned from a commercial break, the scene switches to the aircraft scene near the beginning of LOST HORIZON. As the plane suffers turbulance, Colman/Conway makes his way to the cockpit door and looks in.
There he sees Opus the Penguin in a state of panic as he tries to fly the airplane, finally screaing out "Penguins don't fly!"
Colman closes the cockpit, turns to the passengers, and announces in a worried, resigned voice, "There is a penguin flying the plane.
The passengers scream and Opus wakes from his nightmare.
