I thought this film was very cute!

I really liked the whole film. I saw it first when I was about 10. Everything was so simple, yet effective of getting the point across. The images, although not filled with big budget effects, still stay with me to this day. It was like watching your child's school play--Even though the clouds are made of cotton balls, it dosen't make it any less real to the child somewhere deep inside you. Ironic, since the whole film are stories of the bible from the imagination of a little african-american girl. Everyone should see it!

We're watching it now and really enjoying it. We're also impressed with the directing. Nice work!

I just saw the film on TCM, and I really enjoyed it. It's a very sweet film, and very much like a child's play. I would definately consider this a good film to show children to teach them about religion. If anyone harks on how its not PC, then IMO, they're missing the point of it.
