That someone, I forget who, wants to do a remake. Has anyone here heard anything?

Almost three years later and I've heard nothing about it, so I think it's safe to say they gave up the idea whoever it was.

I know the movie Nadja uses a lot of the same plot, but I don't think it's supposed to be a remake.
