I would've carted their disagreeable, unrepentant and disobedient arses off to boarding school!!! They were an absolute pain in the butt...got on my last nerve!!!

Just saw this on cable, what a relief to see two movie kids who actually act like kids really do: not thinking things through, lying through their teeth to cover up stuff and causing their parents headaches. I also liked Douglas Scott as Horace, the proper boy who yearns to be like Brenda and Tommy and starts spitting pellets and later throwing Christmas tree bulbs.

My grandson watched the scene trashing the Christmas Tree.....and just couldn't believe it! I am sure there are children in the world who would do just that....with dumb parents standing around without a clue as to how to stop them and make them behave!
My grandson thought the kids were totally out of their minds for destroying that tree and creating all of that mayhem! I laughed at him and told him it was just a movie. He says it was a stupid movie because all of his cousins and friends at school all like Christmas Trees and would never do that!
I have to agree with him....never in his/my world would that happen. The Christmas Season and the Christmas Tree are the Holy Grail for him...LOL!
