So that is who they were? Because that was one of my original guesses, but I wasn't sure, because despite not being in the 60-minute version (which was the only one available for quite a while), they are listed in the cast credits at the end, and the cast list doesn't even appear in the full version. But then on the other hand, Marie Ney, who did the physical work for the ghost of Christmas past, wasn't listed in that version at all. Also, I wasn't sure who they were because their names are never stated in the movie, and back then they were usually pretty good about seeing to it that all names were stated in movies. The charity solicitors in the Reginald Owen, George C. Scott, and Patrick Stewart versions are all given names, which, unlike here, are stated directly onscreen. Still and all, it does seem most likely that that would be who Middlemark and Worthington are, so thanks.
