Questions about this film

I nearly freaked when I saw there was a 35 mm screening of BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN in my town tonight!!!!
And I have some questions:

Why did the Monster want Praetorius to die but wanted Victor Frankenstein to live? Because Praetorius led him on / set his hopes high that he could make him a mate? That Praetorius talked him into kidnapping the real "Bride of Frankenstein" ? That Praetorius created a flawed brain for the Bride? Why would the Monster hold Victor less guilty for what happened than Praetorius?

Technical question about Praetorius's jar creatures. Does the book even have this character and or this scene? Do the jar creatures represent anything other than the obvious. Anything other than they knew how to do that special effect? Anyone know HOW they did it? Of course it was full sized actors mixed in with Praetorius? Did they shoot the actors and add them into the jars, or were all 7 actors in giant sized jars playing in front of a projection of Praetorius? I don’t think they could do blue screened glass jars back in the 30s?

The monster somehow knows that knocking over that tall tombstone would lead to a tomb where he could hide? Praetorius just happened to be down there grave robbing at the same time? And Praetorius brought along a picnic lunch to eat in the tomb? How did Praetorius know right away the big man in the Tomb is Frankensteins monster? Did Henry describe him to Praetorius? I mean sure, after a while anyone could figure out WHO ELSE could that thing be??

Did Henry and Elizabeth ever actually get married in this film? The movie starts late at night / early in the morning of their scheduled wedding, and later Henry introduces Elizabeth as his wife to Praetorius.

When they're trying to electrify the bride back to life..... why did the Monster go on the roof and kill one of Praetorius's assistants?

Even though this film starts just a few MINUTES after the first film ends, the monster / karloff has clearly gained weight and the top of his head looks goofy. (Then again he'd just been burned)

Can ANYONE take the blind monk scene seriously after Mel Brooks / Gene Hackmans hilarious spoof of it? How does that monk live? Where does his food and wine come from?

Does this take place in Germany or "Transylvania?" German character and town names. If so why does everyone have a British not German /Rumanian accent? (because it s a movie!)
