I found Valerie Hobson to be quite sexy in this film.

Yes, very.

There have always been sexy women, many making names for themselves in film in the '20s and '30s.

Hobson, Paulette Goddard, Maureen O'Sullivan, Clara Bow, Mary Pickford, Elsa Lanchester, etc.
