On facebook today a very interesting story. One guy was a big fan of Roach and all his various stars went to Culver City Calif and found the Plaque in a park that marked where the studio once stood. There was a map of all the different buildings that were used in the studio. I wondered,as I watched the story on my phone I couldn't read the small print, where was the Ritz theater and Spanky's home were? In one of those buildings, once upon a time, a woman had her dress ripped off her and Spanky put a prop in front of her.

Interesting and what happened that nite in that building that was the ritz theater would Be the topic of conversation for years and with us , some 85 years later. That is amazing!

it's on youtube if u want to see it it's about 16 minutes long. The guy does the history or Roach meeting Harry Langdon and how he was so important in teaching Roach comedy so the Roach studio was called the laugh factory. It's goes into the history of Laurel and Hardy and how the concept of the Our Gang/Little Rascals. If you have some time it's worth the look.

For the life of me I can't remember where I saw this or talked to but supposedly the Ritz theater is a real theater in LA/Hollywood and is still standing. They were wondering if the pole was still backstage or if her dress was still hanging from the rafters. I think it was a website where they tell you where things were filmed in movies and TV.

There are several but I googled them they either have been demolished or the photos of the inside of the theater and they don't look like the one in BL.
