'The Petty Girl'
I was just told a B/L type film called "The Petty Girl" will be shown on Friday nite at 9 pm on a channel called GET -TV.
shareIf anyone hasn't seen "The Petty Girl" I highly recommend you see it if you are a "Beginner's Luck " fan.
The girl is the former model turned actress Joan Caufield who gets herself caught in numerous situations very similar to Kitty Kelly in our favorite short.
This movie is no where near B/L but it's a good one.
Hi guys I watched "The Petty Girl" early this morning. I have to say the actress Joan Caulfield was a real stunner to say the least. The film was cute but it in no way even approached "Beginner's Luck" in it's overall greatness the way Spanky's mother gets done can't be approached. Sure they showed more of Joan Caulfield , and she looks great in a slip there is no overall humiliation as in "Beginner's Luck". Joan doesn't get it anywhere near the way Spanky's mother did.
Overall it was cute and I wasn't disappointed but it was no "Beginner's luck".
I thought of the scenes from TV and movies where we see a beautiful woman in a slip and who is the overall sexiest? I have to say the clear winner is Elizabeth Taylor from "Cat on a hot tin roof" without much doubt to it she looks great and there is no one close as far as I can remember. I have to put Kitty Kelly in the second spot even though it's more than just the sexiness of Kitty it's the overall "Beginner's Luck" plot where a woman is so deeply degraded in a comedic role.
