do you think Spankys Mom ever wore another dress again?? Did the garden club ladies keep Kitty around for laughs or did she get kicked out of the country club?? Did Daisy take the $5 and buy her dress and then became a star at the Ritz. When Kitty gets a shock from static electricty does she relive the night at the Ritz.
I'm sure Spanky's mother wore a dress as at that time that was all a woman really wore ,pants were worn but not as often. The garden club kept her in as a member. The prize was $ 10. but Daisey go on to stardom at the Ritz. I'm sure Kitty relived her stage debut with every electrical shock she got.
I heard a real good one a while back and I'd like to share it with the BL fans.
Picture the scene - as the women are leaving Spanky's house after the meeting where Spanky gave the recital and his mother told the ladies about his going on the stage. One of the women ,who are leaving, Turns to Spanky's mother and asks " What time is the curtain going up ?"
What time is the curtain going up is a pretty common form of asking what time is the show starting . Of course when the curtain did go up Spanky's mother's dress would be attached to it. I thought it was pretty good so I thought I would pass it on .
Well said Doug and funny to. I am sure the ladies group kept Spanky's mom around as she was a friend to the ladies as well. I am also sure behind her back they laughed for hours on end about her disdressing.
