Jerry Schatz/Jerry Tucker

Amazing, I just assumed everyone connected with Beginners Luck was deceased. Turns out Jerry Schatz/Tucker is still alive and had a street in Copiague LI named for him last week. I wonder if he has ever been interviewed about BL.

Good Job hocmann6464!!!!

I would say that he probably was interviewed many times about his days as a rascal. I'm sure he was approached about writing a book on his young actor days but he turned them down for his own reasons.

If you could ask Jerry anything about his days on the set of B/L what would you ask? Feel free and ask as many questions as you wish.

Someone should run down there right NOW before he passes and ask him tons of questions!!!!!

I would love to know several things, first what was Kitty's reaction to the scene and did they alter it in any way. Also did Ruth Hiatt ever actually go through rehearsal as Spanky's mom, and get the works!! Also very curious how they filmed with the audience and howling laughter. And last but certainly not least, was there any thought to prolonging Kitty's exposure and maybe having her stripped to say bloomers instead of slip..

This guy is alive and apparently well and probably the only remaining living person associated with Beginners Luck, it's a shame someone has not interviewed regarding this and other Rascal's classic, I'm sure we all have a ton of questions we'd like to ask about BL

I'd ask what was Kitty like as a person, what did she talk about this short or her role in the ending.I would want to know all about the ending anything he could tell us.I would ask about every rumor that hasn't been confirmed and get the truth behind them.

Jerry had his own "Beginner's Luck" moment in "Hi, Neighbor". The gang was building its own firetruck, and Jerry shorts got caught on the drill and pulled off of him.

He was sent running in his tighty whiteys to his truck.
