Visited the sites shown in this movie
In August 2007 I visited many of the places shown in the movie in Nuremburg Germany. It was kind of creepy to stand in the former Adolf Hitler Platz in the exact spot where Hitler for years reviewed the troops. Of course most of the buildings surrounding the square are reproductions as the area was flattened in a Jan 2, 1945 US air raid.It's now a peaceful, busy part of the city. But since returning home I have read that in the middle ages this exact spot was once the Jewish quarter of Nuremburg and the Jews were wiped out and their homes destroyed with a Catholic church being built on the ruins.
