Spielberg, Lucas, and 'Triumph Of The Will'

-- The aerial shot of the three figures walking between the long, seated columns of spectators at the commemoration/funeral of General Hindenburg will look and feel very, very familiar to fans of Luke, Leia, and Han. George Lucas said he got the idea for the shot from this film.

-- and there's no way you can tell me, after you've seen the S.A. night rally scenes, that Spielberg wasn't taking notes for later use in Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom -- specifically the scenes in the mine after Jones gets hyp-mo-tize.

Also, Spielberg cast some nazis in Schindler's List. It all fits.

it's weird cuz... i think that the most disturbing thing about this movie is that it's beautiful. and what i mean by disturbing is that it was meant to be that way, and that people actually saw it as such...
