How Geniune Were The People?

There's no doubt that Hitler and the Nazi Party had their followers, you couldn't pay that many people to follow Hitler and listen to his speeches

However I had to ponder, when Hitler attends I think it's the RAD workers or whatever, when the men are yelling about "helping Germany and it's people" are these people actually workers? Was this something that the work force actually staged for a visit by Hitler? I'm assuming that most of the people are geniune considering alot of them are just listening to the Nazi Parties speeches, not yelling out things (so far anyways).

So far this "movie" has been really interesting even if it just supposed to make Germany look as sweet and innocent as it was before Hitler instituted the "Nuremberg Laws". It's actually a shame that as far as I know, such interesting nations like Russia during the Stalin era never had their own "Triumph Of The Will".

Any other really good documentaries or even propaganda films I should check out? I'm looking for stuff on Russia and Britain in particular.

I still don't know why Return Of The Jedi has become the "black sheep" of the OT. - Me

course there were some in russia as well. its no secret that propaganda is a very big part of keeping power when your govt is unjust.

I do not know any though, sorry.

As far as britain.. im not sure what youre asking for. Every government throws out propaganda but I dont think Britain ever released anything of this magnitude. I am not a definitive source so Ide keep on looking but this is what I think anyway.

LOL! Of course the RAD workers were genuine, do you honestly think anyone would care to stage it for Hitler? They wouldn't even need to stage it as he was loved by the German people anyway - think of how he brought Germany back on her feet after the state she was in during the 20's and 30's. Mass poverty, mass unemployment, the shameful memory of WWI fresh in mind - he brought work to the people which in turn brought them food on the table, and he restored the pride amongst the people. These are facts, facts that are also verified by the film itself.

Lets not forget the land he claimed back for the German people as well and also the promise of futher living space in the East.Yes indeed he rose to power at a time when Germany was down and out, never put a foot wrong to begin with and was seen as a messiah.

Also had some very good people behind him in the press promoting this image of super human being and saviour of the German people.
