A fascinating look at Bavarian culture, a piece of Americana

A lot of American culture was influenced by Germans; German village in the south part of Columbus Ohio or the Brewery districts in any Mid-Western city.

This film reveals a lot of interesting insights into the type of people and their conservative culture that supported national socialism; beer, bratwurst and blondes... it is like watching any mid-western Oktoberfest celebration. I keep waiting for Glenn Beck to show up. lol

Don't be crackin' on Oktoberfests in the mid-west. Sure, there might be conservative folks there, but they are the old people sitting down, looking all sourpuss at me and my other liberal friends who are standing up, drinking a lot and acting like a goof, making fools of ourselves, very unbecoming of an upright, proper citizen. So much oompah band greatness, that one almost forgets that they are middle aged adults.

Love's turned to lust and blood's turned to dust in my heart.
