This movie scared me when i was kid

I don't know about anyone else, but this film disturbed me when I was the ages of 5-7. For instance:

-the giant toys coming to life at the end
-every scene with Barnabie
-the living trees at night
-the toy machine (the noises it made and when it blew up)

There are several other scenes, but of the childhood movies, this one just frightened me. I've seen a lot of other scary stuff when I was 5-7 that had the PG-13 and R rating, and they never bothered me. but this did. Any thoughts?

tom tom and bo peeps annoying-ness was what scared me as a kid. i loved barnaby...he was my fave haha. he was great and kick ass.

I've always hated this movie and still do. I was like, "How much of E did I take?"

I just watched the whole thing for the first time last December at age twenty-one and I was creeped out. Creepiest was that mouse with the targetboard eyes.
