Well, lessee. There could be Will Ferrell or Adam Sandler as Stannie Dum and Jack Black as Ollie Dee, Lindsay Lohan as Bo-Peep, Zac Efron as Tom-Tom, Glenn Close or Helen Mirren as Widow Peep, Ewan McGregor as Barnaby--and Mel Gibson as King of the Bogeymen!

I'm sure there are other suggestions, too.

Not Jackson. It's sure to be Tim Burton with Johnny Depp as Barnaby!

i was thinking Jim Carrey for Barnaby - a remake would be interesting with todays technology, especially for the wooden soldiers. As for the bogeymen - gotta love those fuzzy suits with the skimpy hula skirts! lol - probably helped make it less frightening for young kids).

Taylor Swift would make a cute Bo Peep. Clay Aiken would make a cute Tom Tom, gay or whatever (Tom Tom wasn't the portrait of masculinity with those green tights but he could sing!)

Joel McHale or DJ Qualls could be a potential Stannie Dum. As for Ollie - Jack Black is pretty funny, so is Rainn Wilson.

For the record, I love Johnny Depp and will watch anything he is in.
