Great movie but too much singing
Especially by the two most boring people in the universe, Bo Peep and Tom Tom. Whenever they were on the screen and broke into song the movie died. I loved the parts with Laurel and Hardy and I loved some of the supporting characters like the cat, the monkey mouse, the rubber faced pigs, the pipe smoking king, and of course Barnabas.
However, even as a kid I kind of felt bad for the bogeyman. I knew that they were the bad guys but I thought that driving out of Toyland was enough. I felt bad about the genocide thing; they were kind of human like and they could obviously feel pain and fear. Where did the rafts go?
In any case, the Cat and the fiddle and monkey mouse were my favorite characters. I loved how Laurel jumped when the cat put his paw on Laurel's shoulder as Hardy was describing what a bogeyman looked like.
