Naughty2nd Street
It has been mentioned this film was pre-code and the one-liners were pretty lewd and funny but still! The up-skirts, the crotch shots, the legs tunnel, the belly-buttons, even today it feels a little racy. 💋

shareUnlike today though, there were a much higher percent of conservative people in those days, to where they succeeded in getting the Hays code officially enforced. Today, the percentage of those kind of conservative people are so tiny, that they'd have about as much of a chance of successfully enforcing another Hays type code as an ant being able to tip over a vending machine.
shareNow we have the hysterical PC brigade.
shareIt's a very knowing and suggestive film, and fun to rewatch every now and again.
It's funny that it's remembered as the film that launched Dick Powell + Ruby Keeler but for me it's Bebe Daniels who makes the biggest impression yet this is the only film I can remember seeing her in even though she was a big star at the time.
