I Just Saw this 'Alice' (1933 version) DVD at Target today!!!

Just wanted ya'll to know it's avail. at your local Target store now -----seems like it was about $10 or less. I got the 1999 version (made for T.V.) for $12.99 there today, and Target also offered the SyFy mini-series called "Alice" (based on the Alice in Wonderland story/made this year), as well. They also had the Peter Sellers version (will have to look up the yr. it was made, perhaps in the '70's?), and it was only abt. $5. Safeway stores are carrying the 1985 version (w/Steve Allen, Ringo Starr, Red Buttons, etc.), as well. Great to see these older versions released, co-inciding w/the new Tim Burton 3-D movie just being released this wknd. I also love the Disney animated one : )

Just. . . . . IMAGINE

I got this yesterday at Best Buy. I paid $15, because I hadn't seen it since I was a kid, so I snapped it up. It's actually quite good. Such fun to see the stars in these roles and it's quite faithful to the books. I like it so much more than the Tim Burton, which I think is terrible. This is a clever version of the story and the use of animation for Walrus and the Carpenter is a treat in the midst of all the chaos.

I had never seen this before, but I collect any version of Alice in Wonderland that I can find. I saw it on sale at BJ's Wholesale Club for only $7.99, so I grabbed it. I'm going to watch it tonight, I'm very excited!
