Kind of like watching a book
I think it's rather charming.
shareI agree. The director and art director decided to stick to Tenniel's illustrations and the events in both books
Oh GOOD!,my dog found the chainsaw
For me, the fact that they did such a wonderful job bringing Tenniel's illustrations to life makes this worth watching. Of course, it misses nearly all of Carroll's sly poltical subtexts, but no Alice film I've seen hasn't. As a kid, I always preferred Through the Looking Glass to Wonderland, and was happy to see that my favorite scene from the book - the opening one in which Alice enters the room on the other side of the mirror - was included, even if it was from Through the Looking Glass and not Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
shareThat was how I felt about it. One of the better adaptations.
shareI enjoyed that about it
