The Art Deco standing clock
Don't you just love it?
shareThe clock in Madame Colet's hallway (upstairs) shows up the next year in the Marx Brother's DUCK SOUP (its the clock in Mrs. Teasdale's house that Harpo resets). It also shows up in a Fox (!) film of 1935, LADIES LOVE DANGER. The only connection I can find with this last film and TROUBLE IN PARADISE is that Samson Raphelson wrote the screenplay for both.
shareI also liked the smaller table clock that has a extended close-up shot. Great film.

The Art Deco standing clock
"Don't you just love it?"
YES!Five years later...
Love, Love, Love it!
The lighting and direction are so good in this film it's easy to notice the meticulously dressed set that highlights that Art Deco clock.

We Band of Brothers" ~ W.S.
