Does paul muni actually say: "say hello to my little friend"?
shareI just got finished watching this movie, and, thankfully, Paul Muni does not say the Pacino line. If you get a chance to see this movie, you'll see that it would be very out of place. The dialogue and general feel of the movie is like most other gangster movies of the 30s. "Say hello to my little friend" was great in De Palma's version but wouldn't fit here. However, there are some other similarities between the two movies (Tony's relationship w/ his sister, his rise to power, similar ending, etc...)
