Fun old oater

Clocking in at under an hour, 1932’s Ghost Valley is a lot of fun. It’s a western, but doesn’t shy away from its modern time period. Automobiles are seen (and used) throughout the film, and power and telephone lines are visible. However, since this is a western, there are plenty of horses, old mines, six shooters, and even a table-breaking brawl. Plus, with a title like Ghost Valley, you even get a few “spooky” scenes! It’s harmless fun that also looks great. For a low budget B western, the cinematography is surprisingly good.

Just saw it and this is a good one. In addition to traditional shooting, riding and fist fighting, they actually manage some Old Dark House stuff, complete with secret panels and clutching hands. And, just to add one more element, there's a "mysterious rider" and some Clark Kent style secret identity business.
