A Farewell to Arms is getting its first proper DVD release on Dec. 20, 2011, when it's released by Kino films on DVD ($24.95) and Blu-ray ($29.95). The DVD is struck from the original 35mm print and is authorized by the Selznick estate. No bonus features.

The film should be complete, given its source. Kino is also releasing other Selznick films long in public domain, such as Nothing Sacred and A Star is Born, also authorized by the estate and using the original camera negative.
I own a KINO DVD of this movie and consider it a winner; I'm entirely pleased and satisfied with it. It presents the movie in its full 89 mins. form and the film's picture and audio in overall excellent condition.
