The Lack of Music Made it...
One of the things that makes classic horror films so great aside from the make up and effects is the music! Nasferatu would not be considered one of the best classic horror films if the music hadn't been so creepy (granted it's a silent film). Like Philip Glass re-scored the Bela Lugosi Dracula, I would love to see someone do the same with this one.
